В навигацию 1990 года кран ПЯ-2 сломал стрелу. Она слишком жестко легла на упор при опускании в транспортное положение. Несколько лет затем использовался как дизель-электростанция в зимний судоремонт. В дальнейшем - как донор при плавкране ПЯ-1
