В 1986 году танкер вышел из Италии на порт приписки, но в связи с тем что иранские войска тогда атаковали Басру заходить туда было опасно, поэтому танкер остановился в Александрии, с тех пор там и находится. По непонятным причинам Ирак никогда не запрашивал вернуть корабль.
