Сейчас на теплоходе "Пионер Алтая" заканчивается один из этапов работ по восстановлению легендарного судна, после чего он пока будет использоваться в качестве музея Телецкого озера... Даже среди профессионалов не утихают споры "а был ли второй такой теплоход на Телецком озере?" На снимке 2007 года слева ясно виден корпус теплохода "Яков Баляев" до его утилизации... Был и третий теплоход типа МО "Алмаз", который был спущен позднее куда-то в низовья реки Обь.
