12 июля 2001 года судно участвовало в тушении пожара на теплоходе Константин Циолковский у причала речного вокзала Санкт-Петербурга. 23 июня 2003 года судно получило серьёзные повреждения при выполнении спасательной операции рядом с островом Котлин, вблизи Толбухина маяка. В августе 2011 года, после ремонта, судно было перевезено на территорию учебной базы МЧС в городе Санкт-Петербург и установлено там, как музейный экспонат.
