В Киеве хотят превратить монумент "Родина-мать" в статую архистратига Михаила. С этой целью предлагается убрать грудь и разместить герб на щите.

Соответствующая петиция была размещена на сайте Киевской городской государственной администрации. Автор предложил сделать крылья покровителя столицы, при наличии финансирования, подвижными.

"Поскольку эта женщина выглядит довольно мужественно, а еще и держит в руках щит и меч, несложно будет превратить ее в статую архистратига Михаила – патрона нашего города. С этой целью убрать грудь, заменить советский герб гербом Киева... Если найдутся дополнительные средства – сделать крылья подвижными, чтобы они колебались под действием ветра", – говорится в сообщении.
