После вывода из эксплуатации 19 октября 1983 года он был приобретен, отремонтирован и частично перестроен компанией «Arbeitskreis Museums-Feuerschiff eV, Эмден». Со 2 августа 1984 года Амрумбанк находится в Ратсдельфте Эмдена – в центре города – и его может посетить любой желающий.
