28 января 1948 переклассифицирован эсминец-охотник (Hunter Killer Destroyer. С 4 марта 1950 эскортный миноносец. С 30 июня 1962 эсминец. Выведен в резерв в 1982.
Исключен 6 августа 1987. 22 февраля 1982 передан Турции, где 20 июля 1982 введен как эсминец (Muhrip). Вооружен 8 ПЛРК ASROC.
