Река пишется как "Saale", а читается как "Зале" [за:ле]. Город называется "Halle" (по-немецки читается как "Хале" [ха:ле], но в другие языки нередко попадает как "Галле").

Всё правильно. Но на русских картах пишется "Галле", "Саале".
А ещё точнее, это Галле(Саале), потому как за речкой Галле(Ноештад)
Наверное, правильнее написать на немецком.
