самый большой памятник реально живущему человеку (если не считать Христа в Рио - учёные сомневаются в его реальности) Раньше на том месте стоял Сталин, но его утопили в Волге и (ЕМНИП) поэтому вход в ВДСК такой извилистый...

да. Во времна "разоблачения Культа Личности". Заморачиватся с демонтажем не стали - его подорвали так, чтобы обломки упали в Волгу

Может быть, фраза "утопили в Волге" была принята как "утопили весь памятник целиком, без взрывов и распиливаний" :) А если по кусочкам - без проблем.
