Село на мель и переломилось на Енисее из-за дефекта корпуса, полученного при спуске после постройки и загрузке в трюм судна сыпучих и навалочных грузов, запрещённых для судов этого типа. После списания надстройку теплохода установили на однотипный теплоход Дивногорск.
