Построен в Або для Рижского порта. 1.06.1916 куплен Морведом, переоборудован в тральщик и 19.09.1917 зачислен в состав Балтийского флота. 5.03.1918 из-за невозможности проводки во льдах после высадки на Або-Аландских островах германских войск оставлен в неисправном состоянии в Мариенхамне и захвачен финнами.
