По информации диспетчера ФБУ «Администрация «Волго - Балт» в 00.20 16.10.2014 на 211,5 км. р. Волхов села на мель носом на красной кромке судового хода баржа из состава буксир «РТ - 310» + баржа «6903», с/в ОАО «Новгородский порт». Состав следовал по маршруту «Курицко - Котовицы», груз – песок 1400 т. Пострадавших, повреждений, разлива нефтепродуктов нет. Судоходство не нарушено. С рассветом судовладелец начал частичную перевалку груза в баржу «6901». В 12.00 16.10.2014 после частичной разгрузки баржа «6903» снята с мели. Состав буксир «РТ - 310» + баржа «6903» продолжил движение к месту выгрузки п. Котовицы.
