Строительный номер 559. Согласно данным из книги по верфи Тельмана, достраивался в Вольгасте. Сдан 30 мая 51-го.
С постройки получил наименование "СО-559". Во второй половине 60-ых сейнер "Вобла" числился в составе одного из рыболовецких колхозов Приморского "Крайрыбакколхозсоюза".
