10 июля 2014 года вечером грузовой теплоход «Базальт» проекта «Славутич» сел на мель. Это произошло при пропускании встречного судна на акватории река Волга вблизи деревни Ильинское Рыбинского района Ярославской области. На борту судна находились 13 человек, никто из них не пострадал. Судно из Карелии перевозило в поселок Норское 3,5 тысячи тонн щебня.
Ликвидацией происшествия занимались 27 человек личного состава. Было использовано пять единиц техники, в том числе от МЧС России – пять человек и две единицы техники.
