Название совпадает со строительным номером. В смутные времена после развала СССР было не до соблюдения порядковой нумерации...
Завод сдал "судно зав. №068", заказчик принял, акты подписали, по рукам ударили, рюмку опрокинули и... перефразируя известную песню "каждый пошёл своей дорогой, а Метеор - своей"
