Яркая иллюстрация судоходства на Оби последних лет - один толкач толкающий одну баржу с песком. Из всех крупных (не маломерных) судов плавающих в районе Новосибирска подобная картина встречается в подавляющем большинстве случаев.

Это было понятно изначально. Непонятно другое, почему нельзя остроносую баржу использовать во главе состава, для этого упоры не нужны. Если же нужно непременно использовать остроносую баржу в любой части состава, при высоком грузообороте и/или недостатке несамоходного флота, то тогда зачем проектировать или же покупать баржу с острым носом?
