Диафрагма увеличивает резкость, чем и пользуются все близорукие, прищуриваясь глядя вдаль.

Если слишком сильно зажать, то будет появляться «мыло». Но от 6.3 до таких значений ещё далеко, так что дело явно не в диафрагме. Может фокус, а может стабилизатор глючит.
