В 1989 году, уже будучи списанным, судно притащили на буксире в п.Лиепая, поставили в базе ЛиБОРФ вторым бортом к БМРТ "A.Никитин", который в тот момент переоборудовался по проекту в плавучий рыбцех. Был план переоборудования и данного БМРТ по такому-же проекту, но наступил 1991 год. Позднее судно перетащили в Ригу.
