В 15 часов 05 минут путейский теплоход «Гряда» приступил к оказанию помощи путейскому теплоходу «Вяхирь». В 16 часов 00 минут «Гряда» стащила «Вяхирь» с брёвен. Взяв не имеющий ход «Вяхирь» под борт, «Гряда» проследовала с ним в направлении затона АНРВПГиС.
