5 февраля 2014 потерпел крушение в Бискайском заливе при заходе в порт Байонна в условиях штормовой погоды.
В результате отказа главного двигателя судно потеряло ход, было выброшено на волнорез пляжа приморского города Англе и разломилось на две части. Все 12 членов экипажа были эвакуированы вертолетами береговой охраны Франции.
