Возможно рыбколхоз до сих пор является официальным владельцем судна. В 1989-92 годах его арендовали для проведения подводных археологических экспедиций совместно с Институтом материальной культуры РАН. Судно затонуло в ночь с 13 на 14 января 1993 года.
