Обслуживало первый скоростной рейс: Вятские Поляны — Набережные Челны (Брежнев) с конца 70-х до начала июня 1988г. Выведен из эксплуатации из-за частых поломок и видимо серьезных проблем с ГД. С начала 80-х работал на рейсах совместно с "Заря-197", позже (с 1986г) — "Заря-278Р". С июня 1988 до конца 1989г находился в "сухом отстое" как на барже так и на берегу в порту Вятские Поляны. В конце 1989 г — корпус передан на сушу лыжной базе. В 90-е гг порезан и сдан в металлолом.
