К 90-му году МРП имело мощный грузовой флот - флотилия буксиров и барж, новенькие Волжские, пара "подержанных, но хороших Волго-Донов, новенькие овощевозы..... приходилось тогда читать, что пора МРП выходить в международные воды, заводить флот река-море. И вот пришло новое судно - казалось первая ласточка, но это уже шел 90-й год.......
