Два судна СПН-688 и СПН-725 (судовдаделец - «Арктическая транспортная компания») затонули на 20,9 км р. Яна. По имеющимся в распоряжении ИАА «ПортНьюс» данным морского спасательно-координационного центра Росморречфлота, причиной затопления послужило получение повреждений при весеннем ледоходе. Данные суда выведены из эксплуатации в 2012 году по причине не годного техсостояния.

Пострадавших, загрязнения окружающей среды нет. Суда затонули за пределами судового хода и на безопасность судоходства не влияют.
