Был ли он волгоградским, вот в чем вопрос... Возможно, шел куда-то дальше, в тот же Ростов-на-Дону, а в районе пристани Красноармейск просто отстаивался. Мне не попадались в архивных записях волгоградские Москвичи 544 проекта с номером, меньшим чем М-49
