Первый паром СП-3 проекта 603, поступивший в Кинешемский речной порт в 1961 году для работы на переправе Кинешма-Заволжск, который заменил на переправе пароход-паром "Смычка" ( построенный в 1927 году в Сормове). Потом уже позднее в Кинешму пригнали СП-29 (в 1969 году) и СП-33 (в 1973 году) проекта 603А. В Юрьевце уже тогда работал СП-1 проекта 603.
