Сейчас создается впечатление, что выше Нижнего собираются земснаряды со всей округи.
Вот и этот с Ветлуги пришел.
А делался он, скорее всего, не для самой Волги, а для ее притоков.

Я потому и поинтересовался, с чего бы это... У нас на Оби как только прихлопнули судоходство на малых реках (р. Чарыш, к примеру)так сразу же и подобный земснаряд стал не нужен... http://fleetphoto.ru/photo/60082/
