По разработанному СКВ ЦНИИМЭ проекту Костромским судомеханический заводом с 1969г. серийно выпускает быстроходные мелкосидящие служебно-разъездные катера ЛФ-22 с бензиновым двигателем марки ЗИЛ-375, используемым на мощности 160л.с. Работы по созданию значащегося в перспективных служебно-разъездного катера с дизельным двигателем на 1974 не развернуты из-за отсутствия серийно выпускаемого дизеля.
