24 сентября 2001 года загорелся на реке Свирь, в районе д. Верхние Мандроги. Огнём была полностью уничтожена надстройка, позже теплоход затонул. В период с 2002 по 2004 год находился на судоремонтном заводе в Городце. После списания элементы корпуса были использованы при строительстве сухогрузных теплоходов Chelsea-2 и Chelsea-4 проекта 005RSD06.01.
