В конце девятнадцатого века в Донбассе бал сформирован гигантский угольный синдикат монополист «Продуголь», который контролировал 70% всей добычи угля в России. Товарный двухмачтовый двухпалубный винтовой пароход BEEFORTH. Построен в 1894 году в Ньюкасле на судоверфи Пальмерса и Ко. Позывной сигнал ( М.К.А.З.). Корпус стальной, ординарный с 4 цистернами. Размеры 303,00 х 43,05 х 24,00 английских футов. Вместимость полная 2640,50 брт. Чистая 1537,08 нрт. Осадка без груза 7 футов. В полном грузу 21 фут. Двигатель одна вертикальная паровая машина тройного расширения. Мощность 1440 индикаторных сил . Скорость 9 узлов. С 1908 — "Продуголь". В 1916 г числится в Мариупольском порту №72. Судовладельцы Ф.К.Звороно и Э.С. ди Поллоне. С 1920 ERGINUS, с 1925 ELEFTHERIOS M.TRICOGLU. Погиб в 1926г.
