5.03.1904 пароход «Европа» (бывший «Великий Князь Александр Михайлович») столкнулся с норвежским пароходом в Порт-Артуре. В результате «Европа» затонула с грузом в 4000 тонн угля. Поднят 28.05.1906г.
02.01.1914г. пароход вышел из Порт-Артура на Японию с углем и пропал.
