Работало на линии Волгоград-Астрахань. Флагман ВОРП. В 1964 году экипаж теплохода получил высокое звание "Экипаж коммунистического труда". С 1985 года находилось в отстое. В 1986 году разукомплектовано на территории Волгоградского затона в пользу других судов, после чего корпус доставлен на пирс грузового порта Волгограда, где судно было утилизировано полностью.
