В районе м. Выев Наволок 04.04.1942 атакован германским бомбардировщиком JU‑88 и через 3 минуты затонул. Два «малых охотника» СФ подняли из воды 26 чел., в т. ч. капитана Ю. С. Попова. Двое моряков вскоре умерли.
