Бывший буксир "Wachau", построен на судоверфи Donau-Dampfschiffahrts-Gesellschaft Werft, Будапешт. С 1939 принадлежал Continentale Motorschifffahrtsgesellschaft, Вена, Австрия. В 1943 мобилизован немецкой армией, переоборудован для работы на морских коммуникациях в составе Seetransportchef Schwarzmeer/DKS, и переведен в Николаев. Затоплен в Николаеве в марте 1944, последствии был поднят 145 АСО. В 1947 восстановлен и переименован в спасательный буксир"Чауда" Черноморского флота. В 1948 передан Черноморскому пароходству.
