Получил известность также как «ныряющее блюдце» (фр. soucoupe plongeante) — малый подводный аппарат, рассчитанный на экипаж из двух человек и глубину погружения до 400 м на срок до 4 часов (ограничено ёмкостью аккумуляторов, запас кислорода рассчитан на 24 часа). Создана Жаком-Ивом Кусто и инженером Жеаном Молларом во Французском центре подводных исследований. Встречается в литературе под именами: Soucoupe Plongeante, Diving Saucer, SP-300 и DS-2. Рабочая глубина погружения — 350м Предельная глубина погружения — 900 м Автономность — до 96 часов с одним акванавтом на борту Водоизмещение — 3,8 т Размеры 2,75х2,75х1,5 м Носитель: Calypso (IMO 5200473) Аппарат совершил порядка 1500 погружений.
