Предыдущее название буксира — "Орел" Владелец судна Смирнов И.В. Буксир мощностью 50 номинальных сил. Корпус железный, длиной 162 фута, построен в 1844 в Швеции на заводе Мотала (Motala Verkstad). Машина построена в Саратове, хозяйственным способом, в 1895 году. Котлы — с.Сормово, завод общества Сормово, 1896 год. Работал на линии Рыбинск — Астрахань.
