Морской тральщик "Торпедист" был построен на Средне-Невском ССЗ (заводской №909), вступил в состав флота в 1972 году. Тральщик входил в состав 68-ой бригады кораблей ОВР. В 1990 году был переклассифицирован в опытовое судно для испытаний торпед с базированием на Керчь . Переименован в "ОС-99", вооружение демонтировано. 01.09.1995 г. корабль был выведен из состава флота.
