| КУЗБАСС (до 1923 г. "Gardenia", до 1927 г. "Havenside", до 1933 г. "Crandon", до 1935 г. "David Dawson"). Полная вместимость 3109 брт (дедвейт 5350 т). Размерения 104.2 х 14.6 х 6.8 м. Скорость 8.5 узла. Бывший английский грузовой пароход. Построен в 1914 г. ("Tyne Iron Shipbuilding Co Ltd", Уиллингтон, Великобритания). Приобретен СССР в 1935 г. и вошел в состав Балтийского государственного морского пароходства. С 1940 г. входил в состав Мурманского государственного морского пароходства. Во время Великой Отечественной войны выполнял воинские и народнохозяйственные перевозки в Северном бассейне. При следовании в конвое QP-3 c экспортным грузом во время шторма получил повреждения у о. Колгуев и 29.11.1941 г. вернулся в Архангельск. С 7.05.1942 г. по 16.7.1943 г. числился в составе СФ в качестве транспорта. В 1943 г. совершил переход на Дальний Восток. Затонул 25.09.1944 г.(26?) в б. Провидения в позиции 64.24N-173.57E между мысами Вахун и Улиахпан. | |
