23 июня 1981 находившийся на промысле в Беринговом море "Арматурщик" столкнулся с траулером "Дубно". В районе машинного отделения образовалась пробоина через которую забортная вода хлынула внутрь судна. Несмотря на помощь других судов вскоре "Арматурщик" затонул.
