Прекращен постройкой 10.09.1941 г. (готовность по корпусу 19.5%, имелись в наличии 3 комплекта ГТЗА, поставленных из Швейцарии) и законсервирован. Во время Великой Отечественной войны находился на Балтийском заводе. 15.06.1948 г. окончательно прекращен постройкой. Одним из аргументов в пользу прекращения достройки было "раскрытие тактико-технических элементов". Разобран на металл в 1949 г.
