Another one gone, sad to see that lives are lost again. Is it time to retire old vessels? Remembering that these ships were built for river/sea trade. Safety issues? Pressures from owners to get it there? Seamanship, well this should not be the question., but issues do arise. How many more with micky mouse flags to be lost?, before something is done.

Food supplies and water probably. She has been there a long time. But with this incident and looking at the flooding of the hull engine room, I would think it is her last days. Sad to see but there are unscrupulous charterers and owners out there. She will not be the last one by far.
