Поднят и отбуксирован для использования на морзаводе в Кронштадте. В середине 50-х гг. возникли планы перевода плавдока на Черное море.
27.06.-28.08.1961г. док буксировался танкером "Пекин" и группой буксиров в Ильичевск.

01.04.1997 г. в акватории Ильичёвского морского торгового порта столкнулся с сухогрузом "Aldebaran" (экс "Советские Профсоюзы", проект 1585, шифр "Днепр", тип Герои панфиловцы). В этом же месяце вышел в последний рейс на разделку.
