Наливная баржа "Сабунчи" передана "Волготанкеру" в 58-ом году из Каспийского рейдового пароходства (до 54-го - "Рейдтанкер").
Вместе с ней были переданы типовые баржи г/п 4560 тонн: "Сагиз", "Макат", "Каратон" и "Касчагыл".
