14.07.2011 в Новороссийске,в торжественной обстановке, встретили новый пограничный корабль береговой охраны «Краснодарец», который прибыл в порт приписки из Санкт-Петербурга. В октябре на нем был поднят пограничный военно-морской флаг. Из Санкт-Петербурга он вышел месяц назад, после того, как в процессе приемки специалисты завода-изготовителя устранили все указанные пограничниками недостатки. С 2003 года в составе погрануправления береговой охраны Черного моря находится «Ямалец» - сторожевик аналогичного проекта.
