Фрегат F 111 MARASESTI. Многоцелевой корабль собственной разработки, до 2001 года относился к классу эскадренных миноносцев.
В ходе службы выявились существенные недостатки в конструкции, после чего 06.1988 года корабль вернулся на верфь Şantierul Naval Mangalia "2 Mai" (Румыния, г. Мангалия) для проведения реконструкции, которая продлилась до 08.1992 года.
