Там целая эпопея была с переправой, изначально освидетельствование производили по месту работы переправы, но пришло время, когда нужен был подъем на слип и осмотр подводной части корпуса. Вот и гоняли за тридевять земель, в Шлиссельбург на слип.

То есть на фото ведут обратно на постоянное место. Тогда — как ездили, пока моста не было? Или только в объезд?

Да, ведут уже с ремонта.
Ездили в объезд через другую переправу, но это долго и дорога там в плохом состоянии

Все оказалось куда намного проще, это подменный паром двух переправ, Анненского и Волокова мостов.
