В бухте Солнечная лед заносит ветрами Южных направлений, при смене ветра на направления Северные, достаточно 2-3 часа, и бухта освобождается от льда. Как и в принципе во всех водах Арктического района, ледовая обстановка меняется очень быстро,все зависит от силы и направления ветра.
