Северо-Западная транспортная прокуратура организовала проверку по факту посадки на мель пассажирского теплохода «К. А. Тимирязев» в акватории Ладожского озера
По предварительным данным, 2 августа теплоход сообщением о. Валаам - Санкт-Петербург уклонился от курса в районе острова Коневец и сел на мель. Причины устанавливаются. На борту находится 170 пассажиров и 47 членов экипажа.
