Теплоход «Плотовод-709» (проект «Р-33Б», судовладелец Красноярский филиал Новосибирской государственной академии водного транспорта) при следовании с паромом «Пелядка» с левого берега на правый в районе строящегося моста на 5-м км Енисея утром 23 декабря 2014 года сел на оставленную строителями ОАО «Сибмост» подводную технологическую опору-сваю. По имеющимся в распоряжении ИАА «ПортНьюс» данным Государственного морского спасательно-координационного центра Минтранса России, судно получило пробоину в жилом помещении.

Теплоход находится в 200 м от берега. Пострадавших, загрязнения окружающей среды нет. Судовладелец принимает меры для снятия судна с мели.
