25 ноября 2009 года в Азовском море в условиях густого тумана произошло столкновение с теплоходом Santa Victoria.
В результате столкновения теплоход Beryl затонул. Теплоход Santa Victoria получил незначительные повреждения и остался на плаву, приняв на борт экипаж затонувшего судна.
